In the late 80's Roel started DJ'ing at local parties. Soon his interest turned to producing music rather than playing records. After a few years he went with some demo material to the Antwerp based USA Import Music. A few months later his first release "Violent Wake Up", in collaboration with Jan van den Bergh, on the Atom label was a fact. This release resulted in the first licensing deal for Atom records and it was sold in the UK to Profile Records. After a second release, the "Paradise Inferno EP", Roel went to the newly founded Bonzai Records were he made solo records and a lot in collaboration with artists like Yves De Ruyter, Fly, Airplay, Franky Jones,... In 1994 he left Bonzai and went to ACF WAF WAF, a Brussels based techno label. After a few solo records he founded Microworld together with Guy Naets. Their first album "Chip" contained the club hits X-Pression and Booby Trap. In 1995 Guy left Microworld to join Bonzai records, while Michel Bierlin joined the band. When ACF WAF WAF went broke, Roel and Michel did some releases on DJ Frank Zolex' Zolex records. In 1998 Roel left the dance scene to go to college again.

In 2009 he started producing again what resulted in the collaboration with DJ Max La Menace, Alaska Swimming Gear and last but not least the founding of Deaf Owl Communication.
